*** The Upper Body Ergometer (The Arm Bike) – Wednesday, June 19th, 12 noon

An upper body ergometer (UBE), or arm bike, measures the amount of power the upper body is able to generate. It also provides a great endurance workout, when used appropriately.  The arm bike is excellent for people who have injuries to their legs and can’t get on a treadmill, an elliptical trainer, or a bike. Maybe they have a broken leg or a sprained ankle, but they still want to get a cardiovascular workout, the arm bike is the machine to use.  In this clinic you will learn how to properly and effectively use the arm bike to get a great cardiovascular workout.
