Subject: The rumor of my demise is a bit overstated… and a new location to drop off donation equipment
Just want to let everyone know that I was able to contact the person that thought we were gone and get them taken care of.. And we are still here to provide the services you have heard so much about.
On another note, I also want to announce that Computer Therapy, Inc is partnering up with Chatham Business Services, LLC to provide a convenient location for donation equipment to be dropped off instead of folks that live further away having to drive to my home office in northern Chatham County.
I would still like to be contacted before you drop off donation equipment so I can make sure that what is being dropped off won’t take up all of the available space that has been allocated for storing the donation items until we can get down to pick it up.
Additionally, I can send you the donation form in advance so you can have it filled out prior to dropping the equipment off. Donation forms will also be available at the time of drop of.
Thanks to Heather Johnson for offering to provide this additional community service as part of our refurbish/donation program. Chatham Business Service, LLC is located at 20 Sanford Road, just behind the Road House at the Pittsboro circle.
For anyone new to the chatlist or the area, Computer Therapy accepts your older desktop or laptop computers, networking equipment, etc and then refurbishes them at no cost to you; these items are then donated to low-income individuals and/or families, or to single-parent homes, non-profit organizations, etc. Additionally, there is no cost to the donation recipient.
We can also accept LCD (flat screen) monitors if they are in working order. We cannot accept the older CRT style monitors or printers.
