Subject: Where The Art Is–Chatham Habitat for Humanity Event

Hey Chathamites!

We’re looking for local artists to participate in an event this coming September! It’s called “Home is Where the Art is” and here’s how it works:

You (the artist) donate one piece of your work to Chatham Habitat for a silent auction. Along with this piece, you include an artist’s statement explaining how the piece represents “home.” (This can be broadly interpreted.) In exchange, you’ll be able to come set up a booth to sell you other work on September 14th, 2013 (a Saturday) in our parking lot. We’ll have the silent auction with all the donated pieces, artist booths, local food, music, and lots of celebration! The proceeds from the silent auction will go toward our mission of eliminating poverty housing in Chatham County. We’ll also ask for a donation of 10% of your booth sales, but the rest is yours!

We welcome ALL ARTISTS and hope to hear from you soon!
