Subject: Bamboo, again
I know the piece of land forested with bamboo in P’boro, across from Habitat. I like it.
It is a spot of green between two buildings. Cut it down to “build something”? as N.A. Booko says – why? There’s more than enough building going on around here. I am pleased to see that little spot of green on West St. when I pass it every day. And, re: this new Industrial Park: Maybe I’m a “N.I.M.B.Y., but this sounds scary!
And so near our beloved Haw River? Thanks for alerting us, Gene. Someone from C.H. told me they had heard about it, and I thought it was just a nasty rumor.
