The conceptual land use plan’s objective is to position Chatham County for sustainable and balanced growth for future generations. It represents a broad framework for future growth and is not a comprehensive land use plan. Partners in the conceptual land use plan development include the Chatham EDC, Chatham County Geographical Information Systems, town planners from Chatham County, Siler City and Pittsboro, Chatham County Public Works and local utility directors.
