Subject: anonymous or not?
I had one unhappy experience when I posted an opinion on the Chatlist that made me want to either stop being involved in discussions or at least become anonymous.
I got a threatening email from someone saying they had researched me, knew all about me and were going to do something about it.
So, to anyone who thinks everyone on the chatlist is full of community spirit, remember that it is a big community and, statistically, chances are there are at least a few nuts out there.
oh – I don’t mean our local treasures who may post wonderful oddities from time-to-time, but unhappy people who like to make others uncomfortable.
