Good morning Chatlisters!  We’ve got a truly great week of live music scheduled, so check it out!  Personally i’m kinda ticked i won’t be here this weekend to enjoy these performances, but that’s a whole other story I won’t bother you with…

Open mic Wednesdays are a fun night and great way to get out and hear some of the awesome local talent here in PBO, as well as enjoy $1 off all drafts!

*Thursday @ 8:30 PM – Mojo Collins*
Not many people have performed with or opened shows for Fleetwood Mac, Janis Joplin, The Grateful Dead, Tina Turner, Muddy Waters & Stevie Ray Vaughan.  Renowned Blues Rock guitarist Mojo Collins is currently living his lifelong dream as a professional musician hailing from the Outer Banks.  His music continues to receive critical acclaim with airplay in the US and 9 other countries over the past 20 years.  Mojo has been the recipient of several prestigious songwriting awards, including the NC Arts Council Fellowship in Music for songwriting.

*Sunday @ 3:00 PM – Gasoline Stove*
Sheesh, it’s just insult to injury at this point, hopefully I’ll at least make it back to town by 3:00 on Sunday….Gasoline Stove is one of the best bands we’re lucky enough to host at the City Tap.  Chapel Hill singer/songwriter Scott Morgan leads this band in a roots/americana sound. Scott is joined by former Memphis the Band mates Pete Lucey (accordion, piano, backing vocals), Jeremy Thompson (drums) and Shannon Culp Morgan (vocals/percussion), with the addition of Jon Baughman on upright bass. Scott’s gritty vocals intertwine with Shannon’s beautifully, along with
Pete Lucey to round out the sound.  Gasoline Stove is an exceptional live band that always brings great music and energy to the City Tap.
