Most folks in and around Pittsboro know about “The Barbershop” – the formal name of the business is Barker’s Barber Shop. Many times, over the years, the two men working there have been written about, featured, and quoted. Two chairs, some waiting. Always chatter and opinions. Quite the place.
Well, in case you don’t know, Mr. Chester Barker is very ill. He has had a series of health issues, during the past year, that have resulted in the Octogenarian being unable to perform his duties as Barber and Philosopher in Chief. Please keep him and his family in your thoughts and prayers as he faces these struggles.
