Subject: Chatham County Republican Party (GOP) Annual Convention
The Chatham County Republican Party will be holding its annual precinct meetings and county convention on Saturday March 23, 2013 at the Horton Middle School in Pittsboro. Registration will begin at 8:30 am.
Precinct meetings will begin at 9:15 am and the county convention will start at 10:00 am. Please visit our website at www.chathamncgop.com for more information and to preregister. Preregistration is strongly recommended to ease the credentialing process.
Our keynote speaker this year will be Brian Bock, Chatham County Board of Commissioners Vice Chair. Rep. Renee Ellmers will also be on hand for brief comments. All registered Republicans and like minded
Unaffiliated voters are welcome but only those registered as Republicans by January 31st are eligible to be voting delegates.
Delegates for District and State Convention will be selected at this convention so if you can’t attend but wish to be a delegate for one of the later conventions contact to be added to the list if there is room.
The Convention is a great time to get involved in the local political process to help bring common sense solutions to government starting on the local level. We can only make a difference if the voters get involved to help elect officials who share their views and then give them the support and direction they need. We will also be voting on a special resolution relating to the Second Amendment. So come on out and join the party!
