A resolution in support of the Chatham site should merely indicate just that, support. No money from taxpayers yet, but a signal that Chathamites would welcome a new contributor to the tax base and a creator of jobs rather than that we are reflexively opposed to such.
The Chatham site compared to the Randolph site reminds me of the difference betweeen harvesting natural resources and raping the land. I have seen both. We surely want to encourage responsible entrepreneurs willing to take a risk and earn their just reward, as opposed to stealthy sneaks who want to run off with taxpayer dollars and leave us “nought but pain and grief for promised joy”.
