An event to benefit the Family Violence and Rape Crisis Women’s Shelter
Chatham Business Services and Pittsboro Roadhouse are teaming up to offer a baby shower to honor the Duchess of Cambridge and her impending royal delivery!! All gifts will be delivered and opened by the families at the
Women’s Shelter in Pittsboro. Perhaps some have never had a baby shower.
Many times these strong women who are trying to gain a new life away form their abusers are also pregnant and have practical needs and why shouldn’t they be pampered a bit as well? The babies in the shelter need diapers (diapers and more diapers), little socks and blankets, sweet little outfits. New mothers could use robes and nightgowns.
On a Saturday in April (TBD) there will be a High Tea Royal Baby Shower in honor of the Duchess of Cambridge, You can have your picture taken with Kate and her baby bump! Prizes awarded for the fascinators worn in a
variety of categories so get yours ready now!
We are seeking donations of prizes to be given away during the baby shower games and for the fascinators. Please email me at to arrange pickup of your contribution.
This will be a whimsical affair to benefit a great cause! No cost to attend, just kindly bring a wrapped baby or mommy gift for the Women’s Shelter.
