Subject: Fine Art Silk Screen Prints for sale at Pittsboro United Methodist Church Bazaar
Artist and PUMC member Sharon Petraitis has graciously donated many of her prints for sale at this year’s Bazaar. These fine art silk screen prints represent four decades of Sharon’s work and many different styles and themes can be traced through the pieces collected here.
These signed, limited editions were made using the photo silk screen process, which allows greater detail than other methods. Glass negatives from the early 1900s and pen and ink sketches by the artist form the images.
Sharon Petraitis has a BA from Mount Mercy College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and has also studied art at the Art Institute of Chicago and the University of Iowa. S
All proceeds from the sale will be donated to the PUMC Bazaar Funds for Missions, supporting global, national and local missions.
