Yes, Pittsboro has a new bookstore!   Another great addition to the historic downtown, Circle City offers a wide selection of rare, used and unusual books, vinyl and CDs to buy, sell or trade.  Doors are open now – Weekdays 11-7, Sat 10-7 and Sunday 12-5.

Mark your calendars now for the Grand Opening Event on Saturday, Nov. 3. There will be drawings for prizes all day, and the highlight event will be a reading by the eloquent and entertaining local author Daniel Wallace, at 2 pm.  The reading will take place across the street at Davenport and Winkleperry Cafe (18A E. Salisbury St.) and will followed by a book-signing at the store (121 Hillsboro St).  Drawings for prizes will also be held throughout the day.  Hope you can join us!

Wallace is widely known for his novel, “*Big Fish*,” which Tim Burton turned into a film in 2003. He has written three other widely acclaimed novels including: “*Ray in Reverse*,” “*The Watermelon King*,” and “*Mr. Sebastian and the Negro Magician*.” His most recent work, “*The Kings and Queens of Roam*,” will come out in May 2013.  You can read more by visiting www.danielwallace.org

Circle City Books & Music is conveniently located in the second block up from the courthouse at 121 Hillsboro St.  Parking is available on the street or behind the building. We’ll be open during the Pittsboro Fall Street Fair so drop by for a visit!
