Subject: Free genealogy workshop at Chatham Community Library
Chatham Community Library will offer a free genealogy workshop this Saturday, October 20, from 10 am to noon.
Guest speakers will include librarians from UNC’s Southern Historical Collection and will feature sessions on initiating family research; preserving archival materials such as letters, documents, and photos; and creating oral history projects. Light refreshments will be served.
Advance registration is a must due to limited space; register online at or by calling the reference desk at (919) 545-8086. Participants may also sign up in person at the library.
