Subject: Corn at Pittsboro Farmer’s Market
Last Thursday one of the vendors at Pittsboro Farmer’s Market had so wonderful late corn. I can’t remember the name of it, but it was similar to Silver Queen- What a treat to have local grown corn this late in the season. Someone told me the vendor would have more this Thursday- The same vendor had a great selection of tomatoes including “Cherokee Purple”. Come out and get all your fresh veggies! Market is located at Chatham County Fairgrounds, behind Foodlion, highway 64 East. Hours are 3:30-6:30 pm.
