Judy Hogan, known in the Triangle area as an editor, teacher and poet had her first mystery novel, “Killer Frost”, out in September 2012. In 2008 she won, with Andrea Selch, the Indy Arts Award for Carolina Wren Press publishing of new voices.

Judy began writing mysteries in 1991. In 2011 she was a finalist in the Malice Domestic First Best Traditional Mystery contest held by St. Martin’s Press, and later that year Mainly Murder Press accepted her book for publication.
