Six proposed charter school programs in the area now face interview sessions with the North Carolina Public Charter Schools Advisory Council.

Representatives from each school get 30 minutes with the council on Tuesday or Wednesday. Council members ask questions to address concerns raised in their previous evaluations of each proposed project.

Proposed schools from this area that remain in the running for approval include:

Howard & Lillian Lee Scholars in Chapel Hill, interview on Tuesday morning.

The Expedition School in Chatham County, interview on Wednesday morning.

Willow Oak Montessori in Chatham County, interview on Wednesday afternoon.
