Subject: I recommend Ana Maria Rodriguez for farm work
Hi, all, if you need farming help, I can’t recommend Ana Maria Rodriguez enough. She has worked under some of our best Chatham farmers (knowledgable folks who produce wonderful vegetables: Doug Jones, Screech, and Will Roberson).
I needed someone who understood more about drip irrigation than I did, and I was in a hurry to get it laid down in the orchard before the heat came. I didn’t know it would be this bad (today’s 100+ temps), but I wanted to be ready. I talked to her on June 15,and we started the work June 18. She had some free time, and had been suggested to me. Drip irrigation isn’t quite as easy as putting tinker toy together. She and I were very honest with each other; what we knew and what we didn’t. Between the two of us, we figured it out, and we did it in two days, about 10-1/2 hours of her labor. I worked with her most of the time. She’s a hard, steady worker, and she has a good sense of humor. You’ll be glad you hired her.
