School will soon be out and if you are looking for something interesting and fun for your child/children–please consider looking into summer camp sponsored by the Silk Hope Ruritan Club and the Goldston UMC. The camp will be held at the Silk Hope Farm Heritage Park with the JAM (Junior Appalachian Musicians) planning many activities for each day. The camp is open to all 3rd to 8th graders and will be from 8:30 – 4:00 each day June 18 -22, 2012. Registration needs to be in by June 4th.

Volunteers needed to help out with activities. Also, would like volunteers to provide snacks for the campers. If you could help out in any way please call 919-548-3458.

Classes will include: Banjo, Guitar, Fiddle, Mandolin, Mountain Dulcimer and String Band–Arts & Crafts, Hollerin’, Jug Band, Country Cookin’, Folk Singing, Storytelling, Dancing and Clogging, Visiting Performers and MORE!

A great experience for your child to explore and learn about many interesting things not available at most other camps. Please come and join the fun at Cham Jam Camp–June 18 – 22 at the Silk Hope Farm Heritage Park in Silk Hope.
