I’ve been reading the Chatlist now for a couple of years and have found it helpful and entertaining, to say the least. Although I’ve resisted the urge to chime in on any of the hot topics, the post below has finally prompted me to respond.

Does anybody know if this person is real or just a flake? Heer we are
in the midst of important discussions on the chatlist, and this one
talks about roses and

rose petals falling to the ground? What drivel ! I could do better
with my hand tied behind my back. Can we get back on tack here and
weid out the nonsense?

I believe this post truly epitomizes the intolerance level that some folks have reached.  Whether we call ourselves Christian, or not, what’s happened to the human decency that was once the norm?  Are we really that out of touch with the human condition that there is no understanding, compassion or appreciation for anything that is not centric to ourselves?  It’s time to get back to the basics and treat each other with respect and dignity.

Instead of fighting back and forth on the Chatlist over politics – contact your elected officials and let them know where you stand on the issues. Get involved to make a difference.  In the meantime, I hope this doesn’t dissuade N.A. Booko from posting on the Chatlist.  I find those messages to be a welcome change amongst the banter!
