When you exercise, it is very important to strengthen your core muscles as part of your exercise routine. The core muscles include the muscles of the lower back and the abdomen. These muscles support the spine and keep your body well-balanced and supported. When you strengthen your core muscles – referred to as building core strength – you will improve your overall fitness and help reduce back pain. Learn how to strengthen these important muscles!

*** “I Just Can’t Fight That Burning Feeling Anymore! – A Lecture on Carpal Tunnel Syndrome” – Tuesday, April 17th,  2:00 – 2:45 pm

Do you suffer from wrist pain or have you had a recent diagnosis of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome? Join Mary Collins, Occupational Therapist with the Galloway Ridge Rehabilitation Department, and Brittnie Oldenkamp, DCFL Exercise Physiologist, for a lecture on causes and symptoms, what to do after diagnosis, and treatment options for Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.
