Is Easter service combined with voter registration a political agenda gone wrong?

I was a bit taken aback by seeing the post from St Bartholomew’s Church combining Easter service and voter registration. This sounds like a political agenda gone wrong.

Easter is the Holiest of days to Christians and I think no one would ever have thought of this. Does anyone else find this kind of weird? I am glad our church concentrates on Jesus and what the day is about..

If you have not yet registered to vote, or if you have children, or you
are looking for a place to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus
Christ, join us at St. Bartholomew’s Episcopal Church at 204 W.
Salisbury St. in downtown Pittsboro on Easter Sunday for our 10:30
service. There will be joyful music, led by our awesome organist Jimmy
Smith. After the service, we will have an Easter egg hunt for the
kiddies , with voter registration in our parish hall from 12 noon until 2
PM. All are welcome to our little church with the big heart.
