If you haven’t heard of or visited the wine bar “unWined” in Chatham County, you need to go!
We went with neighbors Saturday night to find this jewel In the country! They are located off of 15/501/87 south of Pittsboro. Turn Right on Mt. View Church Rd. (past the dump), turn left on Center Grove Church Rd. and it’s just down that road on the left. Joni and Ray, owners, restored the building and feature N. C. Wines.
Don’t think “muscadine, sweet”..these wines are excellent examples from all over North Carolina..many from where the climate is good for European grapes. They also sell local cheese and crackers. They are open Friday and Saturday 1-8 and Sunday 1- 6.
