What will your engraved paver say?

Subject: What would your paver say?

The Friends of the Chatham Community Library are selling engraved pavers through December 31, 2011 to raise money for the library.  Pavers will be installed on the sidewalk plaza approaching the main door.

Pavers are an ideal way to CAPTURE a memory, GIVE a present to a loved one in perpetuity, RECOGNIZE an area club, neighborhood team, family, or group, HONOR an admired author or book, or DISPLAY community support from a business.

What would your paver say?
The sale ends December 31, so don’t miss your opportunity to support your library and also leave some of your wit and wisdom on the library plaza for posterity.

Here are a few of my favorites:

FOR MY MOM
WHO LET ME LEAVE
THE LIGHT ON

BOOKS MAY WELL
BE THE ONLY
TRUE MAGIC

A BOOK IS A
FRIGATE SAILING
YOU MILES AWAY

GIVE A KID A
BOOK & YOU GIVE
A KID A LIFE

And for our daughter, born on December 24, who was called Magic before she was born, we did:

FOR OUR MAGIC
Followed by her name

We have many others

IN HONOR OF

And

IN MEMORY OF¦

What will yours say?

Each paver will be 12 by 12 inches and can accommodate three lines of text, 15 characters per line. Pavers cost $150 each; proceeds to be used by the Library for advancement of enhanced technology and digital capability.
