Hi All,
I’ve been preparing for Thanksgiving by giving some thought to the parts of my personal and professional life that I’m thankful for. The Chatham Chatlist is one of those local treasures that enrich my life on both fronts. I enjoy seeing what’s for rent and sale, reading the little stories shared by wonderful writers and even the surge of adrenalin I receive when conversations turn controversial. 🙂
Thanks to the Chatlist, word of our Abundance Foundation Do-It-Yourself Workshop series reaches a wide audience. We had a wonderfully educational 2011, pairing up teachers with learners and are gearing up for the 2012 DIY Workshop Series. This year, hundreds of people learned how to do everything from bake bread to start a bee hive, make cheese, can jam, grow elderberries, install photovoltaic panels and improve their listening skills.
Thank you, Chatlist and Gene for providing this entertaining and community building forum!
