I have always wanted to know the answer to this: Why is it that candidates running for office do NOT show their party affiliation on their posters? Is it that they are not PROUD to be a member of that party? Is there a LAW against it? It would be an additional tool for some people to make their voting decisions, especially people who are new

residents to the area. Also, the link to the election results that were posted on the Chatlist, show WHO won but not their party affiliation. I wonder why??? Anne

Simple.

Local municipal races are supposed to be non-partisan races. Same is true of the school board races.

Party politics comes into play in the county commission races next year
