Subject: Siler City Farmers’ Market
The Siler City Farmers’ Market will close for the season on Saturday October 29 with lots going on. It will be Customer Appreciation Day – get a free cookie with any purchase. Pluse, we will be celebrating during the Siler City Merchants Association’s Halloween Hoopla with our version of Octoberfest on the market lot at 118 West Second Street. Get a grilled bratwurst sandwich with choice of toppings (saurkraut, grilled onion and perrpers, etc.) for $3.00 or a plate with a bratwurst, baked beans and german potato salad for $6.00. There will also be apple cider, hot or cold, for $1.00 a cup. Serving will be from 11:00 AM until…. Of course, all the regular market offerings, plus lots of fall produce will be available. Come and help us end the season on a high note.
Look for the Mini Farmers Market at Paperbacks Plus! coming in the next few weeks. With the list of people wanting to participate it may not be a Mini Market but a larger market!
Thanks to everyone who came out last Friday for the Art Walk and stopped by to sample, vote and buy chili at our Chili Cook Off. Thanks also to all the wonderful people who made their special chili for that night. We raised quite a bit of money for the Food Pantry.
