Subject: Northwood Mens Soccer lost to DSA Monday, Oct 3
The Chargers lost a tough, hard fought and very physical match tonight in Pittsboro 1-0 to 10-0-1 DSA.
Northwood controlled the match most of the evening and had numerous scoring chances by Clark Streets, Max Middleton, Anthony Castro that went just high or wide and just missed on a Jeff Forbes header with three minutes remaining that the DSA keeper barely deflected.
Jeff shut down DSA’s leading scorer with a fantastic marking effort. Chase Golden was solid in the net making seven saves. Blake Svendsen led a balanced Charger defense. NHS is on the road Wednesday at South Granville.
