Subject: Saturday destination:  Pittsboro’s Chatham Mills Farmers’ Market

The Chatham Mills Farmers’ Market has local breakfast treats freshly baked, and local farms offer many veggie, fruit, eggs or meat items you may want to cook up~ not to mention the wonderful artwork for sale.

— come buy your Pepperfest tickets (event is Oct2, Sunday) at our market info booth on Saturday’s
— also support the 3rd Annual Farmer Foodshare Challenge, Sept 24 Saturday.  This year the rock band Wilco is donating revenue of canvas totes purchased at LocoPops stores, Capital Eats locations, Cat’s Cradle, and at Chatham Mills Farmers’ Market as well as local participating farmers’ markets.  Please use the totes to purchase produce at Chatham Mills Farmers’ Market on Saturday Sept 24 and support St Barts meal outreach in Pittsboro.  Then come out to the Raleigh Amphitheatre and see Wilco in concert on Tuesday, Sept 27th.

Last week, Different Drum performed at the Chatham Mills Farmers’ Market…what a great sound!!  Linda Watson, cookbook author, cooked up some yummy black beans that went so well with the music~ she’s also doing a cooking class at Chatham Marketplace at 2pm on Sat. Sept 17th.

Musicians are encouraged to book Saturday market performances in the month of October and November by emailing cmfmmanager@chathammillsfarmersmarket.com.  It really makes the market enjoyable, and the local talent is awesome!
