I do not include my social security number on volunteer forms

Joe, I was also concerned when I filled out the forms to volunteer at our local school.  I did not include my SS on the form and noted on the form that I thought it was too much info to be giving them, but that I would be happy to help them do the background checks. 

I am more concerned that we are 3 weeks into the school year and I can’t volunteer yet because none of the volunteers have been approved yet (that was suppose to happen on Monday so I will have to check)  I am concerned that one of our classes has 39 kids in it with one teacher, I am concerned that the kids are doing 3 and 4 hours worth of homework a night, and we can’t get the volunteers into school yet.  I hope that someone realizes that the kids are the most important part of our schools and not the school board….
