Tuesday, Sept. 13 at 9:30 a.m..: Infant & Toddler Story Time with Miss Beth
Tuesday, Sept. 13 at 10:30 a.m.: Preschool Story Time with Miss Beth
Wednesday, Sept. 14 at 4:00 p.m..: Microsoft Word Basics [This workshop requires preregistration; contact the reference department at (919) 545-8086 for more information]
Friday, Sept. 16 at 10 a.m.: Common Thread (library crafters group)
Friday, Sept. 16 at 10:30 a.m.: Preschool Story Time with Miss Beth
Saturday, Sept. 17 at 11:00 a.m.: Children’s Celebration! Get a library card, get your face painted, play games and make a craft. Concert at 11:00 a.m. by children’s entertainer Farmer Jason, sponsored by the Friends of the Library.

Thursday, Sept. 15 at 10:30 a.m.: Preschool Story Time with Miss Beth. Newcomers welcome.
Thursday, Sept. 15 at 3:00 p.m.: Junie B. Jones comes to Goldston Library! Listen to some of Junie’s great adventures told by Tammy Walls, aka Junie B. Jones herself. Get a library card and check out some cool new books! Refreshments will be served.

Both programs are  free and open to the public, registration is not required.

Join in Chatham Comunity Library’s “Scary Shorts” Event!

Write an original scary story, not longer than 500 words. Chatham Community Library should be mentioned in the story. Submit in person at the library, or online at www.chathamlibraries.org
Kids under the age of 8 can submit scary pictures instead of a story, if they wish.

Selected participants will be invited to read their scary stories at the library’s “Scary Shorts” event on Thursday, October 27 at 7 p.m., featuring guest author Bob Crowley, who will read from his ghost story “The Wanderer of New Hope.”
