How’s your ginger workshop plant doing?

Subject: ginger workshop

Wondering how others that attended the “ginger workshop” last Spring and had an opportunity to plant the seeds given to us and more, for some, are doing with their plants?  Or rather, how are the plants doing?  Mine range from 2′ to 4 1/2′ seem healthy but no sings of flowers yet.  Is it too early or too late for flowers?  I know I have to dig it up before frost but should I wait til right before the frost or a couple weeks early?  I still have some new shoots coming up round some of the plants.  I am anxious to see how big they have gotten.
