Subject: Saturday 8/27 FREE event: Sheri Castle, cookbook author, demos local food
All you foodies will love the cooking demo planned this Saturday at Chatham Mills Farmers’ Market in downtown Pittsboro. Sheri Castle, renowned cookbook author and instructor at Southern Season and Whole Foods, will do a food demo using ingredients from the market vendors. Don’t worry about Hurricane Irene; she’ll be far out east in the Atlantic and won’t bother us~ fingers crossed!
Chatham Mills Farmers’ Market is open Saturdays 8am-noon and has over 16 LOCAL vendors and artisans with LOCALLY grown produce, meat, and baked products, including gluten-free. Park in the Chatham Marketplace parking lot~ I recommend arriving early for best selections!
