Painting, Watercolors, glazing technique. Monday, 09-12-2011-10.17.2011.Time: 6-8:00PM. Watercolor glazing technique is a process of applying layers or washes over the top of existing dry layers, building a painting in a way that is not so dissimilar from glazing techniques used in oil painting. This class is intended for both beginning and advanced students. Students must have or acquire the materials and supplies to complete the objectives of the course. Not all materials will be consumed during the class. A supply list will be given in the first class. Students should bring w/them equipment, supplies they have on hand. Instructor: Roger Rudesil. Painting-Oils with Water Miscible Pigments & Odorless Solvents. Tuesday, 09.13.2011-10.18.2011. Time: 6-8:00PM. Students will learn about the characteristics of miscible oil pigments and how to create desired effects. Emphasis will be on building a painting w/layers using the transparent properties of thinned pigments, however a variety of textural techniques will be explored. Both beginning and advanced students must have or acquire the necessary supplies. Students will be given a supply list first class. Should bring equipment, supplies you have on hand.
