Pittsboro Montessori School has a rich history of serving families in and around Chatham County. We have a wonderfully diverse community of families, a fabulous Head of School, terrific teachers AND a dedicated, hard working Board with active Committees. Read on to find out how you can help us continue our success.
Over the past three years, our school has more than doubled in size, and the demand for a high-quality Montessori education now exceeds the capacity of our current facility.
In response to this growing interest, Pittsboro Montessori School is seeking a new location that will offer an amazing setting for educational and personal growth.
Our goal is to make the opportunity of a Montessori education available to more children in Chatham County and surrounding areas.
While growing our preschool and Kindergarten programs, we plan to begin serving children in the elementary grades when we move to our new location. In addition, we are actively working to prepare an application for a charter from the State of North Carolina to operate as a tuition-free public charter school for elementary through middle school children.
