Tuesday, June 28: All Chatham County Libraries will be closed due to an equipment upgrade. Normal hours resume on Wednesday, June 29.

Wednesday, June 29 at 6 p.m.: E-mail basics with g-mail. Don’t have an e-mail account? Need to get a new one? This free workshop will teach you all the features of g-mail, one of the most popular e-mail programs available. Class size is limited to 15 participants and registration is required. Thursday, June 30 at 11 a.m.: The Friends of the Chatham Community Library present Rags to Riches Theater performing “All the Same Web” in the Holmes Meeting Room. This all-ages, family friendly performance is free and open to the public. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. Rags to Riches Theater features an interactive format that will have you wondering what will happen next. Don’t miss it! For more information, call children’s services at (919) 545-8085.

Chatham Community Library will be closed for the July 4th holiday on Saturday, July 2 through Monday, July 4 and will re-open on Tuesday, July 5 with NEW hours:

M, W, F: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

T, Th: 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

S: 10:00 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Tuesday, July 5 at 10:00 a.m.: Preschool story time with Miss Beth

Tuesday, July 5 at 11:00 a.m.: Summer Reading Program–stories, crafts, and games for children who have completed grades K through 8. Registration is required. For more information, call children’s services at (919) 545-8085.

Tuesday, July 5 at 6:45 p.m.: Chatham Community Library Book Club will discuss “Annie Freeman’s Fabulous Traveling Funeral” by Kris Radish. We will be making book selections for the next six months.
