Subject: Transparency and local government
I have just watched the first of four videos posted by our BOC on the Chatham County site. I would like to express my thanks to the new BOC and their commitment to transparency by providing these videos for all to access.
I would like to attend more meetings, but current commitments do not allow. How much better it would have been if the previous incumbents had been so open, and provided similar videos of our local government in action, instead of the stealth measures they engaged in. A big “thank you” to our new Commissioners, who are keeping their promises to the electorate.
