Subject: Strange Estate/Warehouse Consignment Sale – No receipts will be given??
Last Friday, a very strange post for for an Estate/Warehouse Consignment Sale appeared in the Classified Section.
Such a list of dos and don’ts and rules and regulations. Such statements as “Sale will be a cash only sale and receipts will not be issued at this sale” No receipt for an honest purchace?
Almost un-American. It was a real turn-off for me. And the round-a-bout discription of the location- Who cares what the inside of the warehouse is or isn’t? Why the big secret about the location? I drove down Thompson street later in afternoon.
Never did see a warehouse- But I did see a yard sale at a barn.
