Regarding vultures……they are great!
They show up in Egyptian hieroglyphs and art, and here in Chatham they are nature’s sanitation engineers par excellence. Years ago, an elderly farmer told me that if, as you were watching them high in the sky, you saw one flap its wings, you were sure to then have a good day.
