Benefit Concert and Auction for Ulys and Kathleen Cook
The Cook’s home was completely destroyed due to a lightening strike and subsequent fire in March, 2011. All proceeds of this concert and auction will go to helping the Cook family rebuild and refurnish their new home. If you have an item to donate to the auction, please bring it by the Fairgrounds prior to 12 noon on Saturday, June 11th.
Saturday – June 11, 2011 at the Silk Hope Farm Heritage Park (Old Fashioned Farmer’s Day location)
Festivities start at 12 Noon
Music concerts by the following bands:
Rocky River Ramblers
Ken Scoggins & Miller’s Creek
Coyote Ridge
Carolina Rose and the Bluegrass Girls and Friends
Al Batten and the Bluegrass Reunion
The Antics of Cousin Brossy and DJ Annette Grady from AM 1070 as our Masters of Ceremonies’.
This is scheduled as an outdoor event weather permitting with indoor backup plans. Limited seating available, so bring your lawn chairs.
Admission Donation $15 for Adults and $7 Students 13-18 yrs old.
Kids 12 & Under are FREE
