Northwood V Soccer defeated Cedar Ridge tonight  5-1. After a very lack luster first half with every mistake a team can make, the ladies put together a well played second half with four unanswered goals. After a 1-1 tie at halftime and a bit of soul searching during the ten minute break the girls got back on track for the win. Goals were scored by Gaby Mehringer, Anna Elkins, Mikkie Gallagher, Allison Gould and April Gibbs. Assists were recorded by Mikkie, Maria Vanderford, Hannah Lawrence and Silva Stout. The Chargers stand at 11-5 and have two remaining regular season matches, both at home,Tuesday at 7:00 vs South Granville and Thursday at 4:30 vs NCSSM.

The Northwood JV Girls Soccer Team won traveled toe Cedar Ridge tonight and won by a score of 3 to 1.  Two goals were scored by Allie DeJong and  one by Sierra Atwater.   Assists were made by Manon MacAllister and Silvia Bourne. Tori Nothnagel played very well in the goal tonight, but it was inspired play by Tasha Rothenberger that really kept the team going strong.  The team now has a record of 5-2-1 and will be at home tomorrow night against South Granville.
