Subject: Take and Eat Food Pantry celebrates Earth Day
The Take and Eat Food Pantry will be participating in the “Let’s Talk Trash!” event on Saturday, April 30, 2011 from 9am to 1pm at Central Carolina Community College in Pittsboro.
Are you wondering how a hunger relief agency is related to an Earth Day celebration?
We help keep tons (literally) of food from ending up in landfills. We also reuse grocery bags and boxes to pack food in for our clients.
Stop by our exhibit to learn about what else we do and drop off canned food and clean grocery bags (plastic, paper and cloth).
