Subject: Bynum Front Porch auction donations

Dogwoods are in bloom, gardens are turned and ready for seed, and spring cleaning has begun.  As you clean and consider letting items find another home, remember that gently used items can be donated for *Bynum Front Porch’s* fall fundraising concert & auction coming this year.  Bynum Front Porch is seeking donations from businesses

and private individuals to enhance the auction with delightful and interesting items.  You can partner with Bynum Front Porch’s mission and make a (tax deductible) donation of your spring cleaning treasures or any other unique items.  Remember these items will be used for a fundraising auction, not a yard sale.

Bynum Front Porch is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to preserve the history, identity and supportive atmosphere of the village of Bynum.  By leasing the last remaining public gathering space, the old Bynum General Store and Post Office, Bynum Front Porch continues to develop programming and the summer Friday Night Music

Series as a means of convening the a community on a regular basis. And that community means you.  (May 6th is the opening of the 2011 Friday Night Music Series.  Check out the schedule to be posted on the website below.)  In addition Bynum Front Porch provides annual college scholarships for Chatham County students.  Many neighbors, within Chatham and beyond, come to enjoy the programming and events or rent the building for their own activities, ever expanding the community we serve.

As your spring cleaning reveals those items that you would like to donate, please contact Debbie Tunnell at:

See ya’ll in a couple of weeks!
