Subject: what is appropriate here
* Our landlord is preparing to paint the outside of the house we rent and have rented for 4.5 years. We have 1.5 years left on our lease. The house really does need painting. I’m wondering, doesnt’ this sort of thing usually get done between renters. This having painters around when we aren’t here, having to take down all of our outside decoration (it is considerable), clean off the deck and back porch that we mostly right now use for storage will be somewhat of a pain in the rear end. Not to mention we have a beautiful teenage daughter who will be coming and going to the house when we aren’t around.
Is it appropriate to ask for some kind of compensation for our being put out, or what? Any and all suggestions will be appreciated. Thank you……. Please reply via CCL
