Virlie’s just keeps getting better. There are now on-line reviews from people in other counties that say things like “Virlie’s breakfasts ROCK! And they do! The service at Virlie’s is awesome too, even when they are bombed with customers! And the Meatloaf on Thursdays is great old fashioned comfort! Virlie’s is a habit kinda place.
At San Filipe, the service is great, very rapid and professional. Always. And the food is always sizzling hot and very fresh. Always. THEY REALLY PUT SOMETHING ON THE PLATE FOR YOUR MONEY! Small wonder that again and again the medical office staff, bank office staff, and men-in-all-kinds-of-uniforms eat there more than once every week.
But hmmmm …. why is it that one Pittsboro eating place never manages to have CONSISTENTLY good food, CONSISTENTLY fresh food, CONSISTENTLY good service, and seldom manages to CONSISTENTLY provide an honest money-for-food exchange? Gosh, we would sooooo love to love that place, but time and time again we leave hungry, and angry.
I guess so-many-times bitten, we’re gonna start choosing CONSISTENTLY good food, instead of the sometimes decent and always too precious dining experience. And we’ll have money left in our wallet.
