The season of Lent is a time for reflection, repentance, and reconciliation.

The Church has been hypocritical, sheltered and naive, judgmental, uncaring  and focused only on saving souls rather than saving lives, and too  political.  We invite you to join us at Ebenezer United Methodist Church at  9 am each Sunday through April 17, as the Church makes its confession to the  world.  Last Sunday, March 13, we confessed and repented that we have been  hypocritical.  A copy of  that sermon is available on our website.  www.ebenezerumc-apex.org .

This Sunday, March 20, Pastor Shay Hall will explore the ways in which the  Church has been sheltered and naïve, and will lead us in expressing our  repentance and asking forgiveness for this sin. Please join us in this  special service.

Ebenezer United Methodist Church is located in Chatham County at 724 Beaver Creek Rd.

The Church’s  confessions to the world will be also be featured each Sunday through April 17 in the 11 am service of our sister church, Buckhorn United Methodist Church, located at 2438 NC Highway 42 in Corinth. www.buckhornchurch.org
