4. The ChathamArts Gallery unveils newest exhibit, “Influences from the Wider World, A Women’s Art Show” with work by Lynnette Russell, Anne Bigelow, and Sharon Blessum. . Exhibit runs through March 26. The gallery is located at 115 Hillsboro Street in downtown Pittsboro. Sadly, ChathamArts is closing our gallery on April 1st.
Please support our artists during their last season at 115 Hillsboro Street, Pittsboro. And let us know if you have a venue that is interested in exhibiting their work in the future!

5. ChathamArts and ArtsNC host an arts advocacy workshop at Northwood High School Auditorium, February 28th at 7 pm. All are welcome.
The economic conditions of the past two years changed life as we knew it, and through it all, the arts have been essential to sustaining community life and in positioning creativity as necessary for economic recovery and a global economy.
Advocacy Workshops presented by ARTS North Carolina explore how advocacy is “mission critical” to fostering the broad scope of benefits arts bring our communities. Executive Director Karen Wells will help you become a powerful
spokesperson for your local environment.
