This week at Chatham Community Library
Tuesday, February 8 at 9:30 a.m.: Story time for infants ages 0 to 2 with Miss Beth. Meets in the Lakritz Story Room. Registration is not necesssary; newcomers are welcome.

Tuesday, February 8 at 10:30 a.m.: Story time for preschoolers ages 3 to 5 with Miss Beth. Meets in the Lakritz Story Room. Registration is not necessary; newcomers are welcome.

Tuesday, February 8 at 6:30 p.m.: Family Movie Night. Join children’s services staff for a family-friendly, recently released movie. Bring a snack and a light-colored drink in a closed container (please do not bring dark beverages such as fruit punch or colas). Meets in the Holmes Family Meeting Room. Free and open to the public; children under 11 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.

Friday, February 11 at 7:30 p.m.: Friends of the Library program with Dr. Anne Mitchell Wisnant. Dr. Wisnant will present “Super Scenic Motorway: The Blue Ridge Parkway Nobody Knows.” Meets in the Holmes Family Meeting Room. Free and open to the public, registration is not required.

Saturday, February 12 at 10:30 a.m.: Story teller Donna Washington presents a program of African tales. Donna is an acclaimed author and story teller whose interactive style will appeal to all ages. Meets in the Holmes Family Meeting Room. Free and open to the public, however, seating is limited and will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
