AAW (Aspiring Authors Workshop) meets Thursday, Jan. 20 at 4 p.m. in the Double Study Room.
This workshop will guide writers ages 13 to 18 from the idea stage all the way through the publishing process. Along the way, guest speakers who are experts in their fields will share tips and techniques for improving your writing. This program is free, but due to limited space registration is required. Library morning crafters’ group meets Friday, Jan. 21 at 10 a.m. in the Holmes Meeting Room.
Bring a snack and your favorite needlecraft. Join other local crafters and quilt, knit, or crochet your individual projects. This program is free, and drop-in crafters are always welcome. Registration is not required. For more information, call Holly Reynolds at (919) 545-8084.
