Consider a Vote for Cathy Wright, State Representative
We are fortunate to have an inspiring candidate for the NC House of Representatives to represent us in the next Legislative term. Cathy Wright possesses a unique set of qualities that we should wish our elected representatives to possess.
Cathy is a nurse who understands the entire span of issues of health care combining the viewpoints of a medical professional, a teacher, a past executive of health related organizations, a legislative advocate (OK, call it a lobbyist if you wish) at State and Federal levels and a breast cancer survivor.
She knows that good intentions are not sufficient. All things must be paid for and our governmental budgetary pockets are not unlimited. She is committed to control State spending, to bring the budget into balance and to be a strong advocate for a healthy business climate that must be the engine to job growth and economic expansion including here in Chatham County.
Our current Democratic Representative is a good man who has done his best to represent our District over an extended number of terms. However, he must accept his share of leadership responsibility for the political, ethical and financial mess that the legislature and state government have become. It is indeed time for the Wright change.
